Spicy Garlic Chicken Rice Bowl
Ingredients:
- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 red bell peppers, sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha sauce
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
1. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
2. Add diced chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-6 minutes.
3. Add sliced red bell peppers to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
4. Stir in soy sauce, sriracha sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
5. Add cooked rice to the skillet and stir until well combined with the chicken and peppers. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
6. Serve the spicy garlic chicken rice bowl hot, garnished with fresh cilantro or green onions if desired.
